I am Nikoletta Kovacs (Norca). I am deeply honoured to live and create in Chilliwack, on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Stó:lō Coast Salish peoples, alongside my wonderful husband, our adventurous pup, and our delightfully grumpy senior cat.

My work is rooted in a lifelong curiosity about human behaviour and the healing power of the arts. With an MSc in Psychology, a background in documentary filmmaking, and now as a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Art Therapist, I am dedicated to honouring the deep connection between creative expression and emotional well-being.

My own journey as a newcomer to Canada profoundly shaped my perspective, leading me to use the camera as a tool for connection and later to pursue art therapy. I believe that we don’t have to carry the weight of our transitions alone - art gives us a voice when words aren't quite enough.

Today, I walk alongside others as they navigate their own seasons of change. Through my documentary work and community-based art therapy projects, I strive to create spaces where stories are heard and connections are built.

Thank you for being here. Whether you are interested in my films, my workshops, or art therapy, I invite you to reach out if you’d like to connect or collaborate.
